On average, the iSkin claro adds a mere 1.8 mm of surface to the iPhone 4, making it an ultra-thin option for keeping your iPhone looking great.
The claro's inner hard layer is made of polycarbonate plastic, while the softer outer layer is made with a new-generation thermoplastic polymer that does not contain phthalates, lead or bisphenol A, making it a safe option for everyday consumer use.
The claro comes only in an ultra-transparent, clear finish. The Glam series comes in 3 colors: Pink (Cosmo), Purple (Vive) and Blue (Bondi)
Yes. We've intentionally left all buttons and ports (except for the volume and power buttons) unobstructed. This ensures that you'll enjoy optimal, convenient access to them whenever you wish.
No. The iPhone 4 dock was designed for a "bare" iPhone. It is, however, possible to use the claro–equipped iPhone with the Apple Universal Dock, with no plastic inserts.
Easy! Every few weeks, or more frequently if necessary, separate the claro from the iPhone 4 and gently wash the claro in warm water infused with mild dishwashing soap. Then allow the claro to air-dry on a flat surface. (Please DO NOT dry by applying heat to the claro, such as a hair dryer or heating vent). You can also dry the claro by gently wiping with a clean, lint–free cloth as well.
Apple has done an excellent job with the iPhone 4's new retina display screen, and we found that some screen films out there tend to cause a reduction in the clarity of the iPhone's display as well as to inhibit the benefit of the oleophobic coating, which reduces oil smears caused by your fingers and face. We have since developed a screen film that will match this superior technology and we offer this separately. You can find this in our Accessories section.
Yes. Earphones with a 3.5 mm jack, such as the iSkin earTones™, will be compatible with the iPhone 4 encased in the claro.
Yes. The claro is compatible with the revoClip holster for iPhone 4. For ease of use and to protect your iPhone's screen, we recommend that you insert your claro-covered iPhone facing towards you.
The watermarks are caused by static build-up that is present when the phone is inserted in the claro. This will subside over time.
No. The rear protective film was meant to be used on a "naked" iPhone 4. Using it with a cover such as the claro may prove too tight a fit and may also cause watermarks to appear.
