Before you are able to effectivly use this product, you must download and install the custom keyboard command set that this keyboard layout is mapped to. It was specially created for professional editors giving them quick and easy access to frequently used commands.

Step 1

Download this file to your desktop or preferred folder.

Step 2

Launch FinalCut Pro (make sure you are using either version 5 or 6)

Step 3

From the Tools menu, select Keyboard Layout > Load Keyboard Layout

Step 4

Loacte and Select ProTouch™ Control.fcmap from the location you downloaded the file to.

That's it!

You are now able to use the ProTouch™ Control Keyboard Protector as a reference guide to easily access FinalCut Pro's editing commands directly on your keyboard.
