Toronto, Canada - December 10, 2003. iSkin Inc. today announces the highly anticipated ProTouch PB keyboard protector updated to fit the new Apple iBook and PowerBook laptop computers.
The ProTouch PB is made of a flexible, high-grade silicone that provides a transparent barrier against spills, dirt, food crumbs, and other unwanted elements that may get in between the keys of the keyboard and potentially cause damage to your computer. It also prevents the keyboard’s keys from general wear and tear caused by everyday use.
Unlike other keyboard protectors, the ProTouch PB is molded to fit the keyboard, form-fits each key and does not restrict typing; instead, it provides a normal and comfortable feel that actually quiets each keystroke– ideal for use in schools, libraries and other quiet zones. The protector may be left on the keyboard at all times and can be easily removed and cleaned.
Although designed for the current iBooks and PowerBooks, the protector also fits older Apple portables including, the PowerBook G3, “clam-shell” iBooks and the PowerBook G4 Ti. It fits both the North American (ANSI) and International Standard (ISO) keyboard layouts unlike the previous ProTouch PB version.
