Does the Claro allow for the use of third party plug-in accessories.
The Claro leaves the iPod's docking port accessible for cable type accessories; however, devices that plug directly against the iPod will not work. Such devices (like iTrip) would require you to remove the iPod from the Claro's hard case portion- leaving the silicone layer on the iPod will work.

Does the Claro work with the Apple Dock or Docking Speakers?
Due to the dimensions of the Claro's polycarbonate layer, the Claro will not fit into the Apple Dock or similar docking accessories. It is recommended to remove the iPod (with the inner skin layer on) from the Claro before docking.

Does the Claro allow the iPod with video to show though?
Yes, however the thin silicone layer does have a slight frost which may make the black iPod appear slightly grey.

Can I use any set of earphones with the Claro?
The Claro's earphone port is designed to accommodate the Apple iPod earphones, iSkin's CERULEAN XLR earphones and other earphones with plugs that are similar in size and shape. Oversized plugs and plugs that connect at a right angle will not work. iSkin has released a small extension for use with the Claro to allow oversized plugs to work. It is available from the online store Accessories page and the Claro page.

How thick is the Claro?
The Claro is adds approximately 4mm all-round to the dimensions of the iPod with video. Due to its design, it maintains a seamless low profile look and is not much bigger than the iPod itself.

What is ClaroCoatTM and how does it work?
ClaroCoatTM is iSkin's anti-scratch coating that is used on the Claro to reduce surface scratching. ClaroCoatTM works by making the surface of the polycarbonate much stronger thus resisting surface scratches and retaining a longer lasting luster to the case. The Claro is coated with this clear hardner all around except on its inside.
